Is ScriptBlox safe?
Every script is read by a paid ScriptBlox reviewer before it goes live. The exceptions are verified creators, who are hand-picked by our staff and publish directly, and the rare script staff restore after reviewing an account.
A person reading every script catches a lot, but it is not a guarantee. Read what you run, and report anything that looks wrong.

What a reviewer checks
Every reviewer works from the same written instructions and checks each upload against the upload rules. These are the reasons a script is turned down.
Malicious code
The reviewer opens the code and reads it. Code made unreadable on purpose can be run through a deobfuscation tool first, and a loader is judged by where it downloads its real code from. Anything that asks for a password or a Roblox cookie, or sends account details anywhere, is turned down.
81 turned down in the last 7 days
Links instead of a script
A post that only points to another website, instead of including the script, is turned down. The script has to be on the page.
3 turned down in the last 7 days
Reposts of existing scripts
The same person uploading the same script again, from this account or another of theirs, is turned down. Somebody else sharing a popular script is allowed.
35 turned down in the last 7 days
Not a script, or no information
An upload with no working script in it, or with no information about what the script does, is turned down.
105 turned down in the last 7 days
Undeclared key systems
Key systems are allowed, but they have to be declared with the Key system toggle and a real key link, so you know before you run it.
90 turned down in the last 7 days
Game scripts posted as universal
A script marked as working in every game that only works in one is turned down, so it can be uploaded again under the right game.
14 turned down in the last 7 days
Adult or inappropriate content
The script, the title and the picture are checked for sexual, violent or otherwise inappropriate content.
3 turned down in the last 7 days
Script requests, not scripts
A post asking for a script, rather than sharing one, is turned down.
4 turned down in the last 7 days
Reviewed and verified are different things
Reviewed
A person on our review team, a paid reviewer or a member of ScriptBlox staff, read this script and approved it. It describes the version that is live now.
Reviewed by the reviewer's name on the date
That line is on the script page. Script cards in lists carry a small shield mark.
Verified
A creator badge our staff hand out to trusted creators. It is about the person, not about one script.
A verified creator's scripts publish directly, without waiting for a reviewer, so they normally show no review line. They can still be reported and taken down like anyone else's.
Found a bad script that got past us?
Report it from the script page with the Report button. If our team takes it down, you get credit on your profile and a thank-you in your inbox, added once a day. Credit counts for scripts that were already live when you reported them.
3 live scripts reported by members were taken down so far this month.
Watch it happen
Scripts we turn down or take down are posted in the review log channel on our Discord, without the uploader's name or the reviewer's. Refused updates and scripts marked as patched are posted there too.
State of the Queue
A report for every month since we started recording every decision.
Questions
- Is ScriptBlox safe?
- Every script is read by a paid ScriptBlox reviewer before it goes live. The exceptions are verified creators, who are hand-picked by our staff and publish directly, and the rare script staff restore after reviewing an account. A person reading every script catches a lot, but it is not a guarantee. Read what you run, and report anything that looks wrong.
- Who reviews the scripts?
- Paid ScriptBlox reviewers and ScriptBlox staff. Every approval carries the name of the person who gave it: an approved script's page says who reviewed it and on what date. Scripts approved before August 31, 2026, when we started recording every decision, do not show one.
- How long does review take?
- It depends on how many scripts are waiting. Over the last 7 days the typical wait for a new script was about 19 hours, and the live panel above shows the current figure.
- What happens when a script is turned down?
- It does not go live, and the uploader is normally told why, with the reason the reviewer picked, so they can fix it and upload it again.
- Can a bad script still get through?
- It can happen. A person reading every script catches a lot, but it is not a guarantee, and a loader can change what it downloads after it was approved. That is why reports exist: if you find a bad script, report it from its page. If our team takes it down, you get credit on your profile and a thank-you in your inbox.
- Do verified creators get reviewed?
- No. Verified creators are hand-picked by our staff and publish directly, so their scripts normally show no review line. Their scripts can still be reported and taken down like anyone else's.
